Here's a quick review of my April favorites...skincare edition:
I'm obsessed with this product. To be quite honest, I did not know that there was such a thing as "overnight lip masks" but call me a believer now, because this lip balm by Laneige is EVERYTHING. After one use, I woke up to lips that were refreshed, supple, and soft to the touch—just as promised. Even more so, you can use it through out the day as well. Retail Price: $22
I've been looking for the perfect sunscreen for a long time and I've tried quite a few of them but after reading reviews on the Unseen Sunscreen SPF 40 by Supergoop, I knew I had to get my hands on it. What I love most about this product is that it's truly light-weight and completely invisible—yes, no white cast, which is a HUGE PLUS. Retail Price: $34
I don't really have much to say about this product except if you don't know, well now you know. I've tried a lot of eye creams in my young life and this is the only one that I can say really does the deed. If you disagree with me, leave a comment below and tell me your favorite, I'd love to try it. Retail Price: $38
Summer Fridays can have all my money if they want (I'm not joking!!). After years of using their jet lag mask, I decided to venture out into their other product lines...and discovered the cloud dew moisturizer. An ultra lightweight oil-free moisturizer that completely infuses thirsty skin with three types of hyaluronic acid and ceramides for nonstop, visible plumping hydration—which my skin definitely needs. Retail Price: $42
The most expensive product on this list and one of my favorite products. Shout out to my friend, Amanda, for introducing me to Drunk Elephant products. Packed with antioxidants, nutrients, and fruit enzymes, this product has visibly firmed and brightened the look of my skin and has helped in minimizing my dark spots. Retail Price: $80
Just a note that what might work for my super sensitive skin might not work for you which is understandable because not all skin types are alike. I tend to have reactions (or flare ups) when trying out new products but what has helped is doing a little research before I buy and the "clean" label on certain products at Sephora. That due diligence helps me to be a bit more intentional about what I'm putting on my skin.
